Millbank Playarea

Work is now underway on the ambitious scheme to provide an exciting Children's Play Area at Millbank.  To follow the project as it progresses scroll down through this page.

Ambitious plans to revamp the Millbank Play Area at Thurso riverside are now reaching an advanced stage with funding beginning to be allocated to the project.  As the project unfolds further information and photographs will appear on this page.

Millbank Play Area 'First Turf is Cut'

The ceremonial cutting of the 'first turf' at the Millbank Play Area took place on Monday 10th May. The tuft was cut by children from each of the town's primary schools.

The major work to completely refurbish the play area is a collaborative project support by Rotary Clubof Thurso and Thurso Town Improvements Association.
